Instructions on how to create your personal Wikispaces page for European Literature.
Please note the following: The username you use to create your wikipage must be the first and last name that appears on my class roll.
Step One: Create your personal Wikispaces page
1. Go to www.wikispaces.com
2. Click on the link titled, "Wikis for Individuals and Groups".
3. Enter your username, password, and email address and click the "join now" button.
4. On the next page type in:
A name for your wikipage (Please use your first and last name. Add numbers at the end if your user name is already taken).
Select the “Protected (free)” in the Wiki Permissions section.
Select “K-12 Education (Primary and Secondary) in the Wiki Type section.
Click create.
Step Two:Post your Life of Pi paragraph assignment on your personal wikispaces page
1. Click on the "New Page" link located in the menu bar to the left.
2. Enter the title of the assignment and the title of your work as the page name (Example: Pi_paragraph)
3. In the tags section enter the assignment title.
4. Click create. Step Three: Create a “linking page” on the europeanliteraturewiki2012 wiki page
1. Go to the Wrightclasswiki page at: http://europeanliteraturewiki2012.wikispaces.com
2. Click on the link "request to join this wiki".
3. Request to join the wiki and wait for Mr. Wright to approve your request (this can take up to 24 hours).
After you have been approved as a member of the europeanliteraturewiki2012:
1. Go to the europeanliteraturewiki2012 page.
2. Click on the “new page” link to create a new page.
3. Enter your first and last name as the page name (please use the same user name you used for your personal wikipage).
4. Enter your class section in the tabs section (3-A, 2-B, or 4-B).
5. A new page will appear. Cut and paste your personal wikispaces page address on the page and click save.
